NSC programs, answered
What is an NSC safety and maintenance program?
It is the written program a commercial vehicle carrier keeps under the National Safety Code: the company's safety policies, driver qualifications and training, hours of service, trip inspections, vehicle maintenance and the records that show each one is followed.
Alberta or federal: which one do I need?
If your commercial vehicles stay inside Alberta, take the Alberta program. If they cross provincial or national borders, take the federal program. If you are not sure, check your operating status with the agency that issued your safety certificate.
Is it a subscription?
No. Each program is $99 CAD, paid once. You keep the Word file and can re-download it from your account.
