British Columbia legislation

The law is referenced for you

The legislation section of every British Columbia manual lists the rules that apply, topic by topic.

In British Columbia, occupational health and safety is governed by Part 2 of the Workers Compensation Act and by the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulation. Both are administered and enforced by WorkSafeBC, which is also the province's workers' compensation insurer. WorkSafeBC publishes OHS Guidelines and Policies that explain how the Act and Regulation are applied.
